Simple Self-Publishing With Amazon KDP

It’s not the best written book, or the best edited, but if you’re an aspiring author, it’s the best book to start you off. It’s got things for you if you’ve got a couple of books under your belt as well. Yes, there’s repetition in it, but that helps stress the more important parts.

My novel was supposed to have been finished by November 2025 and published by Amazon KDP. It arrived in March 2026 and had to be pulled for a month for re-writing. I finally had it out in late April 2026. If I knew when I started the book, what I know now, I would probably have met my mid-November deadline.

I’ve put my experiences into writing so that I can help other prospective book writers avoid the same mistakes I did. This book is designed to be a quick read and supposed to be laid out logically, but sometimes it isn’t that easy. That’s why there’s lots of little bits of important information thrown in at random, as well as some repetition.

This book is not a detailed book that takes you step-by-step through the writing and self-publishing process. It’s a gatekeeper book that tells you a bit about the process, and where to go to get further information.

Sit down, spend 45 minutes reading this book and I think you will have a good idea about what you need to do to make your author journey more pleasurable and successful. If you have a printed copy, read it again with some sticky page markers and a highlighting pen.
